Content Marketing Manager

Pineapple Public Relations is looking for a passionate, creative professional to join our growing team of travel marketing experts. The ideal candidate possesses a mix of strong email, social and digital marketing strategies, as well as management, creative design and writing skills. The Content Marketing Manager will work with the department lead and Social Media and Content Marketing Associate to develop and implement digital and social media strategies along with email, content and influencer marketing campaigns for various clients in the economic development, travel, and tourism industries. The ideal candidate will be highly creative, organized and results-driven, with a deep understanding of email, digital and social media marketing strategies. This includes but is not limited to, familiarity with developing organic and paid social media campaigns, strategizing and executing email campaigns, managing influencer campaigns, reporting and writing well-researched, SEO-driven copy. This is a remote position, though residence in or close to the Atlanta area is preferred. 

What you’ll be doing:

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for the successful  execution and management of social, digital and email marketing plans and day-to-day account activities, including:

  • Demonstrate ability to manage and uphold comprehensive social, digital and email marketing plans.
  • Provide creative input and ideas to enhance client strategies.
  • Lead and manage the creation and implementation of client campaigns and projects.
  • Create and manage content calendars outlining social media, content and email strategies on a quarterly or monthly basis.
  • Develop and execute organic and paid social strategies working closely with the Content Marketing and Social Media Associate to maintain client budget.
  • Create and curate publish-ready content.
  • Implement optimization tactics aligned with our clients’ SEO strategies.
  • Manage and run multiple social media accounts.
  • Develop compelling design work for use on social media and email campaigns.
  • Manage and implement influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrate solid seo-driven writing skills for a variety of formats.
  • Strategize and create compelling content for travel-centric newsletters.
  • Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of social media and email campaigns. Analyze, review and report on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  • Assist on new business proposals.
  • Possess a high level of project management and client communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Robly, Mailchimp and current social media platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience in related fields.
