SITUATION: Augusta, Georgia is well known as the home of one of the most iconic sports events in the country – the Masters® Tournament. However, the city itself has so much more to offer visitors outside the gates of Augusta National Golf Club. The Augusta CVB wanted to establish the city as more than the Masters® by showcasing the history, local eats, arts & culture, and special events which make this southern city so unique. 

SOLUTION: The Pineapple Public Relations team is all about generating buzz through regional and national media! With a focus on the largest media market in the Southeast within driving distance of Augusta – our hometown of Atlanta – we organized a series of deskside media visits. Over two days, we met with top-tier media including print publications, freelancers, broadcast and influencers in the Atlanta market. Our team worked with the Augusta CVB to create and share tailored story angles with each of the media outlets. The results were a hole-in-one success!
