Spreading the Hammock Charm

Along South Carolina’s beautiful coastline, you will find a coalition of pristine beaches known as the Hammock Coast. The charming beach communities between Garden City Beach and Georgetown were eager to increase their brand awareness by growing their social media platforms and increasing engagement with their followers.

Pineapple Public Relations was excited to put our toes in the sand and develop  creative organic and paid social media strategies for Facebook and Instagram that gave followers a taste of SC’s Hammock Coast through their screen. Through content planning, campaign management and execution, clever captions, captivating user-generated photos, and audience targeting, we were able to amplify and substantially increase engagement. Using a combination of organic and paid social media, our social team was able to drive traffic to the Hammock Coast’s social media profiles, which ultimately increased overall followers, engagements and impressions.

• Grew South Carolina’s Hammock Coast’s social media following by a combined 156%, garnered more than 10 million impressions, and increased engagement by 222%. 
• Increased the Hammock Coast’s Facebook following by 138%, garnered more than 9 million impressions, and increased engagement by 198%.
• On Instagram, the social team increased the Hmmock Coast’s following by 504%, garnered more than 1.3 million impressions, and increased engagement by 474%.
